Researcher and community advocate working at the intersection of media, health, and equity
I'm a researcher passionate about addressing inequities and improving outcomes for underserved communities. My work sits at the intersection of social and behavioral sciences, community, evidence-based programs, and advocacy. This passion stems from growing up in Hawaiʻi and witnessing communities' lack of access to essential resources and culturally responsive programs.
In my current work, I am examining how entertainment media influences real-world health behaviors. I also collaborate with marketing teams to develop and evaluate public health campaigns.
I have experience in formative research, qualitative research, and program evaluation.
